Elena Torres es una ex actriz de telenovelas Mexicanas que ahora es comediante. Criada en México con padres Españoles, Elena empezó su carrera en Televisa actuando en varias telenovelas populares a nivel internacional como: "Teresa" (2010), "La Que No Podía Amar" (2011) y "Por Siempre Mi Amor" (2014).

En 2016 Elena empezó su carrera de comediante en Estados Unidos. Desde ese entonces Elena se ha convertido en una de las comediantes primarias del movimiento de stand up comedy en Español en Estados Unidos, su comedia ha sido presentada en Telemundo y el Washington Post. Elena se ha presentado en festivales importantes como New York Comedy Festival y Netflix is a Joke Festival y abre shows para comediantes como Carlos Ballarta y Sofia Niño de Rivera. Elena sigue girando el país presentando shows, escribiendo guiones y creando contenido para el mercado Latino en Estados Unidos.

Admission Policies

• Patrons must be 18 or older to attend events or classes at the DC Improv. Any exceptions are clearly noted in the event descriptions.
• There is a two-item minimum per customer. This can be any combination of food items or beverages. Bottled water and soft drinks count as items. (The two-item minimum does not apply to comedy classes.)
• Coupons or passes for free admission cannot be used for a show listed as a "special event."

Seating Policies

• Matinees, the first show of any evening in our main showroom and all shows in our lounge showroom are seated by time of arrival. The earlier you arrive, the more options you'll have. Please note that the size of your party can affect what options are available to you, as certain tables and areas are designated for larger parties.
• "Late shows" in the main showroom have assigned seating. Assignments are made in order of ticket purchase. Generally speaking, the earlier you buy tickets, the closer you will be to the stage.
• If tickets are designated as being at a "reserved table," your party will have a table to itself. For general admission tickets, if your party does not fill an entire table, you may be sharing a table with other patrons.

Elena Torres is a former telenovela actress that now works as a stand up comedian specializing in the Latin market. Elena began her career acting on popular telenovelas such as “Teresa” (2010), “La Que No Podia Amar” (2011) and “Por Siempre Mi Amor” (2014) In 2016 Elena began her career as a stand up comedian in the United States. In that time Elena has become one of the prime comedians on the movement of stand up comedy in Spanish in the United States. Her comedy has been featured on Telemundo and The Washington Post. Elena has performed in comedy festivals such as New York Comedy Festival and the Netflix is a Joke Festival and she opens for comedians such as Carlos Ballarta and Sofia Niño de Rivera. Elena continues to tour the country and create content for the Latin market in the United States.
