uLead is proud to bring you its 3rd annual fundraiser, Stand Up for Mental Health: a night of live comedy at DC Improv. Your $75 ticket purchase gets you a great stand up show, open bar, and a buffet. Most importantly, all proceeds go to the Luv u Project, a local nonprofit committed to advancing mental health through action.
The performers: Dominic Rivera, Cerrome Russell, Lafayette Wright, Denise Taylor, Martin Amini and Rob Maher.
All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges.
- This event is 21+. All patrons must be 21 or older to attend.
- Because there is an open bar and buffet, the usual two-item minimum does not apply for this event.
- For our main showroom, the first show of any night is the "early" show. All other shows are "late" shows. Early shows are seated by time of arrival. The earlier you arrive at the club, the greater your seating options will be. Late shows have assigned seating, and assignments are made in order of ticket purchase. The earlier you buy tickets, the better your seats will be (i.e. closer to the stage).
- For our lounge, all shows regardless of start time are seated by time of arrival.
Tickets are $75 for advanced purchase or at the door. Doors open at 6:30 and the event will begin at 7:30. Your ticket includes an open bar and buffet. This event is 21+.
uLead is the young professionals initiative of The Luv u Project, a local non-profit whose mission is to turn an unacceptable tragedy into a quantifiable agenda and responsible actions that advance the understanding of, and treatments for, mental health issues. For the third year, uLead is hosting its annual event to fund the Luv u Project's Carolyn C Mattingly Award for Mental Health Reporting in partnership with the National Press Foundation.
This year's event is Stand Up for Mental Health: A night of live comedy at DC Improv. uLead will also present its annual uLeader: Young Professional of the Year Award to an individual making a difference in the field of mental health. Join us on October 16 to raise awareness of mental health issues, network, and laugh the night away with DC's top comics.
Enjoy drinks and dinner, which come with your ticket purchase.
