Lady Bunny: Don't Bring the Kids

Drag Royalty Lady Bunny brings her all new show, "Don’t Bring the Kids," a night full of jokes, filthy fun and demented song parodies.

A talented comedienne, actress and singer, Ms. Bunny has graced your TV screen on shows like Sex and the City and RuPaul’s Drag U, and she is the emcee and creator of Wigstock, the outrageous drag festival of drag and music which electrified New Yorkers every Labor Day for over 20 years.

Now, the hilarious queen is bringing her signature and raunchy comedy to the DC Improv in her new show, "Don’t Bring the Kids." Promising her trademark blend of comedy, music, and irreverence, she’s set to take audiences on a wild ride. From her infamous parodies to her uncensored commentary on contemporary culture, Lady Bunny pulls no punches.

“This show is called 'Don’t Bring the Kids' for a reason,” she declares. “It’s not for the faint of heart, but if you’re ready to laugh and let loose, then I’ll see you there.”

NOTE: Mature content. She’s REALLY old, yes…but she’s also very dirty.

Admission Policies

• Patrons must be 18 or older to attend events or classes at the DC Improv. Any exceptions are clearly noted in the event descriptions.
• There is a two-item minimum per customer. This can be any combination of food items or beverages. Bottled water and soft drinks count as items. (The two-item minimum does not apply to comedy classes.)
• Coupons or passes for free admission cannot be used for a show listed as a "special event."

Seating Policies

• Matinees, the first show of any evening in our main showroom and all shows in our lounge showroom are seated by time of arrival. The earlier you arrive, the more options you'll have. Please note that the size of your party can affect what options are available to you, as certain tables and areas are designated for larger parties.
• "Late shows" in the main showroom have assigned seating. Assignments are made in order of ticket purchase. Generally speaking, the earlier you buy tickets, the closer you will be to the stage.
• If tickets are designated as being at a "reserved table," your party will have a table to itself. For general admission tickets, if your party does not fill an entire table, you may be sharing a table with other patrons.

The internationally known drag icon, comedian, recording artist and jet-set DJ is as famous for her big-banged bouffant and her notoriously naughty wit as for her ability to get a dancefloor jumping. A Manhattan gal since the early 80s, Lady Bunny shares Atlanta roots with fellow drag star and former roommate, RuPaul, and is most famous for co-founding and emceeing Wigstock, the annual New York City Labor Day outdoor drag festival that ran for nearly 20 years.
