Bryan Callen

Bryan Callen

Callen got his start as an original cast member of MAD TV. He then went on to play numerous roles on the small and big screen including, "Old School" "Bad Santa", “The Hangover”, "Sex and the City", “Entourage,” "Californication", “7th Heaven,” “King of Queens,” “Stacked,” “Las Vegas,” “West Wing,” “News Radio,” “Significant Others,” “CSI,” “NYPD Blue,” “Suddenly Susan,” and “Frasier.” In 2012, he finished a two-season character arc on USA’s “In Plain Sight.”

Callen is not a famous actor but sometimes people look at him and scream "Bilson," since that's the character he played on several episodes of CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother.” In 2011, he played Captain Frank Dashell, leader of the Undead Task Force, in the short-lived but critically acclaimed MTV comedy, "Death Valley."

His most recent TV appearances can be found on his recurring role as “Coach Miller” in “The Goldbergs” and “Garo Kassabian” in Kingdom.

Other Showtimes

Bryan has been all over the small screen, thanks to "The Goldbergs," “MadTV” and great guest roles in tons of TV shows. He’s a podcasting star, hosting “The Fighter and the Kid” with former UFC heavyweight Brendan "Big Brown" Schaub. And he’s a stand-up hero too. Welcome him back to our stage on Super Bowl weekend!

Admission Policies

  • Patrons must be 18 or older to attend events or classes at the DC Improv. Any exceptions are clearly noted in the event descriptions on dcimprov.com.
  • There is a two-item minimum per customer. This can be any combination of food items or beverages. Bottled water and soft drinks count as items.

Seating Policies

  • For our main showroom, the first show of any night is the "early" show. All other shows are "late" shows. Early shows are seated by time of arrival. The earlier you arrive at the club, the greater your seating options will be. Late shows have assigned seating, and assignments are made in order of ticket purchase. The earlier you buy tickets, the better your seats will be (i.e. closer to the stage).
  • For our lounge, all shows regardless of start time are seated by time of arrival. If you require special accommodations (wheelchair access, etc.) please call the Improv at 202-296-7008 and inform us ahead of time.
  • If you purchased tickets and want to ensure that you are seated with another party that bought tickets separately, call the Improv at 202-296-7008 and inform us ahead of time.

Door Times

  • For "early" shows, doors usually open one hour before showtime. Seating for "late" shows usually begins 15-30 minutes before showtime. Check your e-mail confirmation for specifics.
