Michelle Wolf has established herself as one of the most influential voices in the comedy landscape. The Village Voice calls her “the voice comedy needs right now,” and The Daily Beast declared, “Michelle Wolf is the future of stand-up comedy.” Most recently, Wolf released her third stand up special, “Michelle Wolf: It’s Great to Be Here”, a series of three 30-minute episodes on Netflix. The special premiered to rave reviews and rose to the Top 10 most watched TV on Netflix. Her previous special “Michelle Wolf: Joke Show” is also on the platform. In 2018, Wolf made international headlines as the much-buzzed-about headliner of the White House Correspondents Dinner.

Wolf created and served as the executive producer, writer, and host of the critically acclaimed variety sketch series “The Break with Michelle Wolf” on Netflix. Before “The Break,” Wolf was an on-air contributor and writer for Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” and a writing supervisor and performer on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” where she also made her late-night television debut in July 2014. Wolf also wrote for the “88th Academy Awards” hosted by Chris Rock.
Wolf headlines theaters, comedy clubs and colleges nationwide and has performed at a number of festivals, including Outside Lands, Moontower, Bonnaroo, Just For Laughs Montreal, JFL 42 and the Dublin Comedy Festival. In 2016, she completed an incredibly successful first appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a sold-out run of her debut hour-long stand-up show “Michelle Wolf: So Brave.” The critically acclaimed show, which earned her a nomination for the Best Newcomer Prize from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, garnered numerous four-star reviews from top publications such as the Guardian, Herald and Scotsman.
When not crisscrossing the nation on tour, Wolf splits her time between Ohio and Barcelona. She is an avid long-distance runner in her limited free time.

Admission Policies
- Please note: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. Senior citizens and people with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting our establishment, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
- Patrons must be 18 or older to attend events or classes at the DC Improv. Any exceptions are clearly noted in the event descriptions.
- There is a two-item minimum per customer. This can be any combination of food items or beverages. Bottled water and soft drinks count as items. (The two-item minimum does not apply to comedy classes.)
- Coupons or passes for free admission cannot be used for a show listed as a "special event."
Seating Policies
- Matinees, the first show of any evening in our main showroom and all shows in our lounge showroom are seated by time of arrival. The earlier you arrive, the more options you'll have. Please note that the size of your party can affect what options are available to you, as certain tables and areas are designated for larger parties.
- "Late shows" in the main showroom have assigned seating. Assignments are made in order of ticket purchase. Generally speaking, the earlier you buy tickets, the closer you will be to the stage.
- If tickets are designated as being at a "reserved table," your party will have a table to itself. For general admission tickets, if your party does not fill an entire table, you may be sharing a table with other patrons.
