Grand reopening! COVID-19 restrictions are in place for these shows, with a maximum of 50 attendees.
After more than a year, live comedy returns to downtown D.C.! We have the go-ahead to open with reduced capacity and safety precautions in place. And we have a great headliner to get things started again.
Erin Jackson started her entertainment career right here in Washington, working her way from the open mic circuit to the Improv stage. She found national success, with appearances on “Last Comic Standing” and “Ellen,” and most recently in the Tiffany Haddish Netflix series "They Ready." Comedy has taken her around the country again and again. Join a DC Improv favorite as she returns to the nation’s capital for our grand reopening!
All attendees on Thursday night will get souvenir DC Improv masks and pint glasses.
All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges.
COVID-19 Information
- To comply with the city's capacity restrictions and social distancing guidelines, we are selling tables rather than individual tickets to any show where restrictions are expected to be in place. At this time, customers will not be sharing tables with anyone other than their party. If your group requires multiple tables, those tables will maintain 6-foot social distancing rules.
- Customers are expected to take necessary precautions to protect themselves and others. Per local guidelines, customers must properly wear a face covering or mask except when eating or drinking at their table.
- Employees and customers will have their temperatures taken upon entrance to the facility. Anyone with a temperature of 100 degrees or greater will not be permitted on the premises.
Admission / Seating Policies
- Please note that our standard policies will be suspended as needed to comply with COVID-19 regulations.

Christian Finnegan is a pioneer of the “talking head” show, a sitcom actor and a Twitter all-star. He hosted “Black & White” on A&E, and he was a writer for “The Jim Gaffigan Show.” And most important (as far as we’re concerned), he’s one of our favorite stand-ups, delivering shows as sharp and funny as anyone on our schedule. He even recorded one of his albums here. We're thrilled to have him back as we return from a year of being closed.

Steve Byrne
April 29 - May 01
COVID-19 restrictions are in place for these shows.
Steve is a crowd favorite, bringing a positive vibe, tons of energy, and a classy looking outfit to every performance. For three seasons, he starred in "Sullivan and Son" on TBS -- a show built around his upbringing as an Irish-Korean living in Pittsburgh. He has put out numerous hour-long comedy specials, which have been seen on Comedy Central, Netflix and more. Steve's act has evolved right along with Steve -- and it's all great. As a writer/director, Steve has produced two of the best movies about comedy that we've ever seen: the documentary "Always Amazing" and the feature film "The Opening Act."
